Get Involved

Elections in Seminole County succeed because community members step up to serve. Whether you help at the polls, partner with us as an organization, or offer your facility as a voting location, your involvement helps keep our elections prepared, trusted, and accessible for every voter.

Election workers play a vital role in ensuring every election runs smoothly, securely, and fairly. By joining our team, you’ll help voters navigate the process and support the integrity of Seminole County elections, all while serving your community.

To qualify, you must:

  • Attend a short, in-person training session (half day)
  • Complete an online training module
  • Be available to work a full day on Election Day (starting at 6 a.m.)

Our next countywide election is coming up quickly in August of 2026. If you’re interested in joining the team, fill out the application below. Qualified applicants will be added to our prospective worker database, and we’ll contact you before the next election training session.

Through the Partners in Democracy program (our version of Adopt a Precinct), community organizations, businesses, and civic groups can play a hands‑on role in elections. Groups provide volunteers to serve as election workers, and funds earned for their service support the organization directly.

It’s a great way to give back to the community, promote civic engagement, and help ensure fair and accessible elections across Seminole County.

We’re always looking for convenient, accessible, and voter‑friendly sites to serve as polling locations. Ideal facilities have:

  • Ample parking and easy access.
  • Barrier‑free entrances and interior spaces.
  • Safe conditions for both voters and staff.
  • A location visible and familiar within the community.
  • Churches, schools, community centers, and businesses have all helped make voting easier by opening their doors on Election Day.

If your organization or property might be a good fit, we’d love to connect.

Call 407‑708‑7711 or email [email protected] to learn more about hosting a polling location.

You don’t have to wait for Election Day to get involved. From election worker training to voter education events and community partnerships, there are opportunities to serve throughout the year.

Every effort – big or small- helps strengthen voter confidence and keeps Seminole County elections simple, secure, and accessible for all.
