Seminole County Supervisor of Elections to Conduct Public Test of Voting Equipment Ahead of November 3rd General Election
Media and the public are invited to observe the required Logic & Accuracy testing that verifies voting equipment is accurately reading and tabulating ballots
WHAT:
The Seminole County Supervisor of Elections Office will conduct its public Logic & Accuracy (L&A) Test for the November 3, 2026, General Election.
Florida law requires Logic & Accuracy testing before every election to verify that voting equipment accurately reads, tabulates, and reports votes. During the public test, election staff cast pre-marked test ballots through each voting and tabulation device to confirm every vote is counted exactly as intended. Following Logic & Accuracy testing, the Canvassing Board will canvass the first Vote-by-Mail ballots received for the November 3rd Election.
The testing is open to the public and provides an opportunity for media to observe one of the many safeguards that helps ensure accurate election results.

Logic & Accuracy testing is one of several security and accuracy procedures conducted before every election. During Friday’s public test, election staff and the Canvassing Board will verify the accuracy of equipment used throughout the voting process, including:
- DS200 precinct tabulators
- ExpressVote ballot-marking device
- DS300 early voting tabulator
- DS950 central count scanners
- Enhanced Ballot On Demand printer
- The Clear Ballot election audit system
Testing is conducted in accordance with Florida law as part of the Seminole County Supervisor of Elections Office’s ongoing commitment to transparent, secure, and accurate elections.
The General Election is Tuesday, November 3, 2026.
