Seminole County Supervisor Of Elections to Host Media Day and Mock Election to Test Vote-By-Mail Process

The Seminole County Supervisor of Elections Office invites members of the media to attend its Mock Election & Media Day on Friday, July 17, as election staff conduct a comprehensive Vote-by-Mail processing exercise in preparation for the August 18 Primary Election.

WHAT:A comprehensive mock election to test the Vote-by-Mail process, the new Clear Ballot audit system, and voting equipment ahead of the August 18, 2026 Primary Election.During the exercise, election staff will review equipment, procedures, and workflows while demonstrating how Vote-by-Mail ballots move through each stage of the process from receipt to processing and preparation for tabulation.Members of the media are invited to observe this behind-the-scenes election readiness exercise, gain firsthand insight into the secure processes used to administer Vote-by-Mail ballots, become familiar with the specialized equipment used throughout the election cycle, capture updated B-roll and photography, and ask questions of election officials and staff.
